Gardening Party  February 5th

On Sunday 5th February we had our first gardening party of the year.  February is usually limited for garden activity, but we had a great turn out from our volunteers and a lot got done.  As well as the wicking bed, we also needed to clear the overgrown bed near to the station entrance.  With official railway approval CCGs will be developing this bed, we hope, in collaboration with Charlton Park School. Litter picking was another task which needed to be done – a Charlton home match on the previous day had made for more litter than usual, but also, as usual, all else in the garden was fine.
