Getting involved

It is a great team effort at the station, with experienced and novice gardeners of all ages bringing enthusiasm, community spirit, muscle(!) and gardening knowledge to the group.

People are helping in many ways.  Troughton Road residents have kindly offered us use of their green bins, we have a great team of waterers who keep the plants alive, along with many other volunteers who join in gardening sessions and grow on seeds and plants for planting in the garden and for sales.

We are keen to hear from people who want to join in with the watering rota, take part in gardening sessions, grow plants, etc or perhaps you have DIY skills, love designing gardens,  or litter-picking is your thing!

We look forward to hearing from you.  Please email  charltoncommunitygardens@gmail.com or complete the contact form under Contact.

Do you have recipes to share?

We'd love to hear about your own favourite recipes using seasonal produce. We're looking for simple, quick ideas to share, but please make sure you acknowledge your source if it's from a book or magazine. We'll be adding the recipes to the site as we get them.
